Assignment 1 - Inspiration

I can honestly say that I haven't really looked any many professional photographers before. I mean I have looked at peoples photos and admired them but I've never really focused on a particular photographer. After looking around on the net I stumbled across Steve McCurry. The man is simply amazing. There isn't one of his photos that doesn't evoke thought or feeling and his use of colour is phenomenal.  I soon realised while reading his bio that he was a member of the much talked about Magnum Photos. If this guy doesn't inspire you to get out into the unknown and shoot away I don't know what will.
